Edra Soto

Edra Soto is a Puerto Rican-born, Chicago-based artist known for her multidisciplinary practice that draws on her Caribbean heritage and explores themes of cultural identity, domesticity, and community. She frequently incorporates architectural elements, wrought-iron grillwork (rejas), and installation to examine the intersections of public and private space. Soto is also a co-director of the outdoor project space 'The Franklin' in Chicago.
