Chris Johanson

Chris Johanson is an American artist and musician based in Portland, Oregon, known for his raw, folk-inflected paintings, sculptures, and installations that blend DIY aesthetics with philosophical and social commentary. His work often features hand-lettered text, simplified figurative forms, and muted or earthy color palettes, addressing themes of consciousness, community, urban life, and the human condition.
