Attributed to Isaac Oliver

Isaac Oliver (1556-1617) was an English miniaturist and goldsmith who became one of the most accomplished portrait painters of the Elizabethan and Jacobean eras. He trained under Nicholas Hilliard and developed a more realistic style of miniature painting. His works are highly prized for their technical skill and intimate portraiture.
