Yang Wencong (楊文驄, 1596–1646) was a Chinese literati painter and calligrapher of the late Ming dynasty, renowned for his landscape paintings executed in the refined scholarly tradition. A native of Guizhou, he was closely associated with the artistic circle of Dong Qichang and counted among the 'Nine Friends in Painting' (畫中九友), an elite group of Ming loyalist artist-officials. He remained loyal to the Ming court and perished following the dynasty's collapse at the hands of the Qing.
