Torii Kotondo (1900-1976) was a Japanese painter and printmaker known for his bijin-e (pictures of beautiful women) and kabuki theater scenes. He was a prominent figure in the shin-hanga movement, blending traditional ukiyo-e techniques with modern aesthetics.
