Shirana Shahbazi

Shahbazi works across photography, painting, and installation, creating images that question documentary truth and aesthetic conventions through staged compositions and interventions. Her series combine studio photography with printed fabrics, paintings, and sculptural presentations. She represented Switzerland at the Venice Biennale and exhibits internationally at institutions including Kunsthalle Zürich.
