Pinchus Krémègne (1890, 1981) was a Lithuanian-born Jewish painter who became a prominent figure of the École de Paris, known for his expressive, richly textured landscapes, portraits, and still lifes. He studied at the Vilna School of Fine Arts before emigrating to Paris in 1912, where he became closely associated with fellow Jewish émigré artists such as Chaïm Soutine and Michel Kikoïne. His work is characterized by bold impasto technique, vibrant color harmonies, and an emotional intensity rooted in the Expressionist tradition.
