Lutz Dille (1922–2012) was a Swiss-Canadian photographer known for his humanist street photography that captured everyday life with warmth and psychological depth. Working primarily in the mid-to-late twentieth century, he documented urban scenes, children, and ordinary people with an intimate, empathetic lens influenced by the tradition of European humanist photography. His work has been compared to that of Henri Cartier-Bresson and Robert Doisneau, and he is recognized as an important figure in Canadian photographic history.
