Louis-Robert Antral

Louis-Robert Antral (1895, 1940) was a French painter known for his evocative harbor scenes, coastal landscapes, and urban nocturnes rendered in a moody, atmospheric style. He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts and became associated with the Post-Impressionist tradition, gaining recognition at the Salon des Artistes Français. His works, often depicting ports such as Nantes and Breton coastal villages, are prized by collectors for their luminous handling of light on water.
