Llewellyn Xavier

Llewellyn Xavier is a Saint Lucian artist known for his vibrant, mixed-media works that blend painting, collage, and found materials to address themes of environmentalism, global politics, and Caribbean identity. His work gained international attention through his UNESCO-backed Global Peace Through the Fine Arts project, in which he created works sent to world leaders advocating for nuclear disarmament and environmental protection. Xavier is regarded as one of the Caribbean's most prominent contemporary artists, with works held in major collections worldwide.
