Kogelnik was a painter and sculptor who created Pop Art works featuring flattened, outlined human figures and body parts that addressed technology's impact on humanity. Her "hangings", vinyl cut-out figures suspended in space, and paintings explored themes of identity, fragmentation, and mechanization with vibrant colors. Her work is held in collections including the mumok in Vienna and the Museum Moderner Kunst, and she was part of New York's Pop Art circle.
