Jacopo del Sellaio (c. 1441, 1493) was a Florentine painter of the Early Renaissance, known for his devotional panels, cassone paintings, and narrative mythological scenes. A pupil of Fra Filippo Lippi and later associated with Sandro Botticelli, he developed a graceful, lyrical style that reflects the refined aesthetic of Quattrocento Florence. His works frequently appeared in wealthy Florentine households as domestic furnishings and private devotional objects.
