Siqueiros was a muralist, painter, and political activist who pioneered experimental techniques including spray painting and the use of industrial materials. His dynamic, politically charged murals such as 'The March of Humanity' in Mexico City and works at LACMA combined Cubist fragmentation with social realist themes. He is represented in major collections including MoMA and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
