Daniel Garber

Daniel Garber (1880–1958) was an American Impressionist painter renowned for his luminous landscapes of the Delaware River Valley in Pennsylvania, particularly around New Hope. A leading figure of the New Hope School, he captured the region's rolling hills, rivers, and quarries with a distinctive poetic sensitivity and masterful use of light.
