Charles Victor Thirion

Charles Victor Thirion (1833, 1878) was a French academic painter known for his history paintings, mythological scenes, and allegorical compositions. He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and was a pupil of notable academic masters, exhibiting regularly at the Paris Salon. His work is characterized by classical technique, rich color, and dramatic narrative subjects drawn from history and mythology.
