Richard Zimmermann

Richard Zimmermann (1820, 1875) was a German landscape painter known for his romantic depictions of Alpine and Bavarian scenery. He studied at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts and became associated with the Munich School, producing richly detailed oil paintings that captured the grandeur of mountainous terrain and pastoral countryside. His works have appeared regularly at European auction houses, particularly in Germany and Austria.
