Krishna Shamrao Kulkarni was an Indian painter and educator whose work was featured in the painting event at the 1948 Summer Olympics art competition. He was a pioneering figure in the Indian contemporary art scene and served as the founder-president of the Delhi Shilpi Chakra, an influential avant-garde artist movement that shaped modern art discourse in India.
