Jyoti Bhatt

Jyoti Bhatt (born 1934) is a celebrated Indian artist, printmaker, and photographer known for his intricate intaglio prints that blend folk traditions with modernist sensibilities. A student of the renowned Kantilal Patel and later trained at the Baroda School of Art, he spent decades documenting rural Indian life and folk art through his lens and printmaking practice. His works are held in major collections and have appeared consistently at Indian auction houses including Saffronart and Christie's.
