Johann Adalbert Angermeyer was a German Baroque painter born in 1674 in Bilin, Bohemia, known primarily for his exquisitely detailed still life compositions. He spent much of his career in Prague, where he became celebrated for cabinet paintings featuring flowers, insects, birds, and vanitas elements rendered with meticulous precision. His work reflects the influence of Dutch and Flemish still life masters and remains highly sought after in the Old Masters auction market.
