Herbert Haseltine

Herbert Haseltine (1877, 1962) was an American sculptor renowned for his exceptional bronze and polychrome sculptures of animals, particularly horses, hunting dogs, and wildlife. Trained in Europe under masters in Paris and Rome, he became celebrated for his meticulous anatomical accuracy and rich surface treatments, often incorporating precious and semi-precious materials. His masterworks include the 'Champion Animals of Britain' series and numerous commissions from royalty and elite patrons worldwide.
