Han Bing

Han Bing is a contemporary Chinese artist based in Beijing known for his conceptual and performance-based works that explore themes of consumerism, urbanization, and the tensions between tradition and modernity in China. He gained international attention for his 'Walking the Cabbage' performance series, in which he walks a cabbage on a leash through city streets, using mundane objects to comment on alienation and the absurdities of contemporary life. His multidisciplinary practice spans photography, video, installation, and performance, and has been exhibited in galleries and institutions worldwide.
