František Muzika (1900–1974) was a Czech painter, graphic artist, and stage designer who became one of the most prominent figures of the Czech avant-garde. Initially influenced by Cubism and Constructivism, he later developed a deeply personal Surrealist-tinged style characterized by mysterious, dreamlike imagery and rich, jewel-like color. He was also a distinguished typographer and book designer, leaving a lasting legacy across multiple artistic disciplines.
