Artus Wolffort (1581, 1641) was a Flemish Baroque painter who trained under Otto van Veen and later worked closely with Peter Paul Rubens, often collaborating on large-scale compositions. He was admitted to the Antwerp Guild of Saint Luke in 1615 and became known for his religious and mythological paintings that reflect Rubens' monumental style. Wolffort's works have appeared at major auction houses including Sotheby's and Christie's, where his altarpieces and figure paintings have attracted significant scholarly and collector attention.
