Théodore Jules Guédy was a French painter active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, known primarily for his Orientalist compositions and scenes of North African and Middle Eastern life. His works frequently depict figures, street scenes, and landscapes from Algeria and other Mediterranean regions rendered with detailed realism and warm atmospheric color.
