Paul Henry (1848–1905) and Prosper Henry (1849–1903) were French brothers and pioneering astronomical photographers who worked at the Paris Observatory. Together they developed advanced photographic telescopes and lenses that revolutionized celestial cartography, contributing significantly to the international Carte du Ciel project to photograph the entire sky. Their technical innovations in astrophotography and optics bridged the worlds of science and visual art, and their celestial images have been recognized for their aesthetic as well as scientific value.
