Luis Alvarez Catalá

Luis Álvarez Catalá (1836, 1901) was a Spanish painter celebrated for his genre scenes, historical compositions, and portraits reflecting 19th-century academic realism. He trained at the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid and later in Rome, absorbing influences from both Spanish and Italian traditions.
