Jan van Orley

Jan van Orley was a Flemish painter and tapestry designer of the 16th century, son of the renowned artist Barend van Orley. He worked in Brussels and was known for religious compositions and historical scenes. He contributed to the tradition of Northern Renaissance art in the Spanish Netherlands.
