Frank Henry Shapleigh (1842, 1906) was an American landscape painter known for his detailed depictions of the White Mountains of New Hampshire and the scenic regions of Florida and the American South. He studied under George Loring Brown in Boston and became a popular artist working in the tradition of the Hudson River School. Shapleigh operated a studio at the Crawford House in New Hampshire for many years, where he sold paintings to tourists and travelers.
