Arthur Luiz-Piza

Arthur Luiz Piza (1928–2017) was a Brazilian-born artist who spent most of his career in Paris, becoming one of the most celebrated printmakers of the 20th century. He is best known for his intricate intaglio engravings and embossed works that transform metal plates into sculptural, tactile compositions exploring light, shadow, and geometric form. His innovative approach to printmaking earned him international recognition and numerous prestigious awards.
