Two Works: (i) Flat Box 9; (ii) Flat Box 2
Two flattened cardboard boxes, marked with ink and secured with tape, are presented together within a frame chosen by the artist. Faldbakken elevates discarded, everyday packaging into a minimal yet charged aesthetic object, drawing attention to the residual traces of use and handling embedded in the material. The work reflects the artist's ongoing interest in entropy, consumer culture, and the quiet subversion found in mundane, overlooked objects.
