Equals Pi takes a different form as an LED neon artwork featuring energy efficient tubing mounted on full board backing. This 2023 installation explores the same mathematical concept through light based mediums rather than solid materials. The neon construction creates an illuminated visual experience that transforms the meaning of the pi symbol. Energy efficiency demonstrates environmental consciousness in contemporary art practice. This work contrasts with the wooden version while maintaining thematic continuity.
