And you know it? (The Currency)
Damien Hirst 's And you know it? (The Currency) is a unique hand-painted work on paper from his groundbreaking The Currency series of 10,000 individual dot paintings. Executed in enamel on handmade paper, the artwork measures 20 × 30 cm and is hand-signed, titled, and dated in pencil, complete with a watermark, hologram, and HENI stamp for authentication. Each painting from the series was linked to both a physical artwork and an NFT, forcing collectors to choose between digital or material ownership—an act that questioned the nature of value and authenticity in the art market. When the NFT was chosen, the physical artwork was destroyed, making surviving examples like this increasingly rare. This original abstract artwork remains in mint condition, preserved in its original HENI packaging.
