Pietro Pasolini

Pietro Paolo Pasolini was an Italian filmmaker, poet, and intellectual who became one of cinema's most controversial and innovative directors. His works, including the Decameron and Salò, combined avant-garde aesthetics with provocative social and political commentary. He was murdered in 1975 under circumstances that remain debated.
