Bernard Leach

Bernard Leach (1887-1979) was a British potter and a pioneer of studio ceramics who blended Japanese and Western pottery traditions. He studied under Japanese masters and established the Leach Pottery in Cornwall, becoming one of the most influential ceramicists of the 20th century. His work and philosophy profoundly shaped the studio pottery movement.
