Adriaen de Gryef

Adriaen de Gryef was a Flemish painter born in 1670 who specialized in hunting scenes, still lifes with game, and depictions of animals in landscape settings. He was active in the Southern Netherlands during the late Baroque period and was known for his detailed and naturalistic rendering of birds, dogs, and hunting trophies. His works frequently appear at European auction houses and reflect the strong Flemish tradition of decorative animal and game painting popularized by artists such as Jan Fyt and Pieter Boel.
