Garbage Ocean

Garbage Ocean is a uniquely hand finished screenprint created by Murmure in 2020 on Somerset paper using a vibrant color palette. The work explores environmental concerns and the impact of human consumption on marine ecosystems through its artistic expression. Each print is individually finished by hand, making variations between pieces inherent to the artistic process. The title directly references the problem of oceanic plastic pollution while the visual composition transforms this dark subject matter into compelling art.
