Winter at Bayonne

A monumental four-panel work, *Winter at Bayonne* combines acrylic paint, paper collage, and luminous gold leaf across a variety of surfaces — canvas, cardboard, and paper — unified within a single artist-designed metal and Plexiglas frame. The collaborative duo Komar and Melamid layer materials and textures to evoke a wintry industrial landscape, merging the iconographic traditions of Soviet painting with the visual language of American commercial and folk art.
