Still Water (The River Thames, for Example): Image D; I; and O
Roni Horn's *Still Water (The River Thames, for Example)* comprises three large-scale photographic images of the Thames' surface, capturing the river in a state of hypnotic, near-abstract stillness. The close-up views dissolve any clear sense of depth or horizon, transforming the water into a shifting, enigmatic plane that hovers between representation and abstraction. Produced in a limited edition of seven, each signed and annotated photograph invites intimate contemplation of the river as both a physical and philosophical subject.
