Part of Kass's ongoing exploration of identity and art historical appropriation, this seven-color silkscreen employs Pop Art techniques to create a self-portrait that both celebrates and critiques the canonical imagery of Andy Warhol. The work continues the artist's feminist interrogation of the male-dominated art world while asserting her own presence within it.
