Bitumen emulsion, vinyl and wood

A raw and industrial composition by Daniel Turner, this work employs bitumen emulsion and vinyl applied to wood, inviting reflection on material transformation and decay. Turner's practice characteristically explores the residual qualities of utilitarian substances, allowing the inherent properties of each material to assert themselves with minimal artistic intervention.
