An extremely rare large limestone head of a bodhisattva from the Sui Dynasty, featuring a softly rounded face with gracefully arched brows, downcast eyes, and full cheeks expressing quiet contemplation. The elegantly coiffed hair is arranged in looped sections with a double chignon at the crown, decorated with a painted Dharma wheel and crimson-painted curlicues, accompanied by carved florets.
