Fuzzy Puddle/Turkey Beard

A tangled web of glowing neon tubing intertwines with delicate lingerie lace, suspended within a Plexiglas structure and connected by industrial GTO cable and transformer. Rhoades characteristically merges the seductive and the mechanical, juxtaposing feminine, domestic materials with raw electrical components. The work pulses with an energetic tension between the handmade and the industrial, the intimate and the garish.
