Sea State I-V

Produced by the multidisciplinary American-British artist Matthew Ritchie, *Sea State I-V* is a complete set of five etchings with aquatint in colors on wove paper with full margins. The works reflect Ritchie's characteristically dense and dynamic visual language, weaving together abstract forms, bold color, and intricate line work into layered compositions that suggest cosmic, scientific, and mythological systems in constant flux. Together, the five prints function as an interconnected series, inviting the viewer to trace evolving narratives and patterns across the suite as a whole.
