Yagi Kazuo

Yagi Kazuo (1897-1969) was a Japanese ceramicist and sculptor known for his modernist approach to pottery and abstract sculptural forms. He was a pioneer of contemporary ceramics in Japan and influenced by both traditional Japanese aesthetics and Western modernism.
