Raeda Saadeh

Raeda Saadeh is a Palestinian performance and video artist whose work critically examines gender roles, cultural expectations, and the political realities facing Palestinians living inside Israel. Her provocative performances often involve subverting domestic and feminine archetypes, as seen in works like 'Ironing' (2007), where she irons a dress while wearing it, and 'Up' (2003), which meditates on freedom and constraint. Her work has been exhibited internationally at venues including the Sharjah Biennial, the Jerusalem Show, and major European institutions, establishing her as an important voice in contemporary Middle Eastern feminist art.
