Nobuhiro Nakanishi

Nobuhiro Nakanishi is a Japanese contemporary artist best known for his 'Layer Drawing' series, in which sequential photographs printed on transparent acrylic sheets are stacked in space to create three-dimensional representations of time and movement. His practice investigates the nature of memory, temporal experience, and perception by making the passage of time physically visible as a sculptural form. Nakanishi has exhibited widely across Japan and internationally, including at Art Basel and numerous institutional shows, earning critical acclaim for his conceptually rigorous and visually compelling approach.
