Isidore Isou

Isidore Isou (1926-2007) was a Romanian-French artist, poet, and filmmaker who founded Lettrism, an avant-garde movement emphasizing letters and sounds as artistic elements. He pioneered experimental cinema and developed theories about art beyond traditional aesthetic boundaries.
