Greene & Greene was an architectural firm founded by brothers Charles Sumner Greene (1868, 1957) and Henry Mather Greene (1870, 1954), active primarily in California during the early 20th century. Renowned for their craftsmanship and attention to detail, they created some of the finest examples of American Arts and Crafts architecture, particularly their celebrated 'ultimate bungalows.' Their work emphasized natural materials, handcrafted joinery, and a harmonious integration of structure and landscape.
