Cecilia Bengolea

Cecilia Bengolea is an Argentine artist and choreographer based in Paris whose interdisciplinary practice merges dance, video, performance, and sculpture, with a particular focus on the intersection of the body, club culture, and digital technology. She is widely recognized for her deep engagement with Jamaican dancehall and vogue dance communities, which have profoundly shaped her performances and video works. Bengolea has exhibited and performed at major international institutions including the Tate Modern, the Centre Pompidou, and the Venice Biennale, and she has collaborated extensively with fellow artist François Chaignaud.
