Brion Gysin

Brion Gysin (1916-1986) was a painter, poet, and sound artist associated with the Beat Generation and experimental literature. He is best known for his contributions to cut-up techniques and his collaborations with William S. Burroughs. Gysin worked across multiple media including visual art, performance, and electronic music.
